HEREFORDSHIRE County Bridge Association held its major competition introducing newcomers to the more experienced players: the 'Pro-Am' teams.
Playing with pairs from all over the county, a Colwall couple, Sue and Derryck Munday were winners.
Denis Gray, a Ledbury student who has been learning for just a year, came fourth.
Overall results: 1 Sue & Derryck Munday, Sarah Weller & Norma Waterton +59; 2 Louise James, Pat Holbrook, Ann Slater & Joan Walters +39; 3 Vicki & Rodney Archard, Sarah Green & Elizabeth Dinnen +19; 4 Denis Gray, Keith Jennings, Ann Sheldon & James Lambert +16.
