THE Eastnor Sunday/Friendly side enjoyed an entertaining night at Colwall against the Clogs, winning by six wickets, although under Clog rule 3 (3) (b) part 21 Eastnor probably lost!
G King (15), Phil Browning (16) and E Mason (10) aided Clogs to 64 all out in their allotted 20 overs, with the reintroduced and ageless Paul McTear taking two wickets for one run in his long two over spell.
Steve Hughes (25), Gavin Locke (14no) and McTear again (10) took Eastnor to a dubious victory with nine overs to spare, Mason (2-6) the best of the Clog attack.
A great fun night out, roll on Tuesday, August 16, for the rematch at Eastnor.
