THE Rev Courtney Atkin will be signing copies of his book A Significant Accident in Ledbury tomorrow (Saturday)
Mr Atkin, of St Katherine's Alms Houses, who admits to "a consuming passion for rail travel", has spent several years researching an express train crash that took place on in 1967, between Huntingdon and Peterborough.
Five passengers died and the incident led to the conviction of a signalman, although some questions remain unanswered more than 30 years on.
Mr Atkin said: "The event, though unique in the history of British railways, has received very little attention in the technical or popular press."
The signing is at the Three Counties Bookshop, in High Street, from 11am to 3pm.
