TWO people sustained shock injuries and many vehicles were damaged when debris was thrown at passing motorists from an overhead bridge near Ross-on-Wye on January 11.

A group of youths was seen throwing rocks and stones off the bridge, which lies between the A40 Wilton roundabout and the Cattle Market.

PS Gary Telford said: "We are appealing for witnesses to these incidents, which we are treating very seriously. We are very concerned that these actions could lead to serious injury or even a fatality and urge those doing it to stop."
