BEAUMONTS beat Jaffas 54-35 in one of the best and closest games between the two sides in the BOSS Hereford Netball League.

The first quarter was drawn 7-7 with some good centre-court play between Jaffas' Carol Richards and Karen Bowen.

Beaumonts pulled away in the second quarter, but Jaffas managed to keep the difference to six going into the last quarter.

Then Beaumonts brought on Dawn Raczowski as wing attack and she combined well with Jane Tannant Nash to take the victory to 10 goals.

Aztec beat TCs 63-19 with flowing netball from attackers Kim Armitage and Kerry Perrott ably supported by Jaydee Hunt and Toni Douthwaite.

Red Devils gained a 47-26 victory over Folbigg Flyers, whose defensive pairing of Jane Davies and Dawn Davies worked well. But they were unable to stop some faultless shooting.

Humfrys and Symonds made a storming start against Sixth Sense and went on to win 32-16.

Wing attack Claire Davies provided accurate passes and shooters Barbara Preece and Trudy Davies were on target.

Allsorts collected a 36-32 win over Radnor Valley, who could only field a team of six.

Beacon Babes comfortably beat Spread Eagle 53-19 and Monmouth beat Jacks 57-10.
