HEREFORD Couriers won the women's team prize at the Dursley 12-mile cross country race when over 500 runners competed in this popular Gloucestershire event.
The Couriers team made light of the heavy going and packed well with Alison Cooke leading them home in 1 hr 42 min. She was backed up by Jenny Hopkins, 1-45, Jayne Littlewood, 1-48, Julie Suff 2-16 and Holly Homan, also 2-16.
Tim Clarke finished a creditable 20th in the men's race in 1-27, followed home by Sean Bennett, 1-31, Martin Slack, 1-43, and Ashley Cooke, 1-54.
