Anthony Burgess's Clockwork Orange is brought bang up-to-date with Snap Theatre Company's touring production, which arrives at Ludlow Assembly Rooms tonight (February 13).

An all-female cast provides a lyrical and exhaustingly physical performance, accompanied by subliminal video images, a highly original set and a throbbing classical/garage soundtrack.

For the few that are unaware of A Clockwork Orange, be prepared for a mind-bending, soul-searching journey through the depths of a shadowy society where anything goes.

Seen through the eyes of a young, rebellious street gang and its charismatic leader, Alex, A Clockwork Orange is a spiralling tale of excess, violence and crime.

Director Dianne Hancock provides the public with a fresh insight into violence and its effects upon society.

Tickets for this evening's performance in Ludlow are available on 01584 878141. The production will also appear at The Courtyard theatre on March 1. Tickets available on 01432 359252.
