n David Park missed his first cut in five starts on this year's European Tour when he failed to qualify for the weekend in the ANZ Champion-ship played at Sydney, Australia.

The tournament used a modified stableford format where an albatross was worth eight points, an eagle five, a birdie two and a par nothing. For a bogey a point was deducted and anything worse meant the loss of two points.

Park ended his first two rounds on plus three points, some seven short of the qualifying score.

This week the Hereford-shire golfer tees off in the Johnnie Walker Classic in Perth, the last of three events on the Australian leg of the co-sanctioned tour.
