CHURCH -- It is hoped to 'revamp' the Old Nave at St Nicholas church, Grosmont, to enable it to be used by the community. The proposals include providing a kitchen, loos, storage facilities, a committee room and access for disabled, it is intended to create the facilities without spoiling any part of the mediaeval fabric of the nave. Also it is proposed to install a new heating system and general redecoration of the church. The plans are on display in the nave at St Nicholas church and comments are welcome in writing to Chris Bacon or Jeremy Beal.
