A FORMER Gloucester, England and British Lions rugby player has bought a landmark country house hotel between Hereford and Ross-on-Wye.
Brent House Hotels, headed by Steve Boyle, is now running the Pilgrim Hotel in Much Birch.
Steve intends to continue the reputation gained by the busy 20 -bedroom hotel which has won awards for its restaurant and first class customer service.
After business success in Cheltenham, Steve and Theresa bought the Wentworth House Hotel in Bath and quickly built on its standing in the city.
The move to buy another hotel in Hereford has come after a year-long search for property in England and Wales.
Steve, who was a lock forward for both club and country, made his international debut for England against Wales at Cardiff in 1983. He went on to win two more caps.
