ROSS produced a good all-round team performance to take three precious points against Easington in a bottom clash in Division 1 West of the Cherry Red Records Hellenic League.
Ross took an early lead when Dave Skipp completed a fine flowing movement by sliding the ball past the advancing keeper.
But, with half-time approaching, Griffin snatched the equaliser at the second attempt after Byron Hartley had produced a fine stop. Ross restored the lead one minute into the second half through Kevin Horsfall, who squeezed the ball home from a tight angle.
They had to withstand pressure before Stuart Parker broke away to net their third.
