SUPPORT for moving Ledbury's library to the Master's House on St Katherine's car park has been voiced by the chairman of Herefordshire Council.
Peter Harling told Thursday night's meeting of Ledbury Town Council that the move would be "fantastic".
New laws stating public buildings must be accessible to the disabled mean the library will soon have to move from its current home in the Elizabeth Barrett Browning building.
Coun Harling added that the status of the Masters House, which he described as the best example of its kind in the country, could soon be raised from Grade II to Grade II*.
