Colwall and Clifton 2nd shared a 2-2 incident-packed draw at Bristol in the West Clubs Women's League Premier Division 1 when all the goals came in the first half.
After a slow start, Colwall started to find their game and took the lead when Nina Emery converted a short corner.
Clifton hit back to equalise and then went ahead with a controversial penalty flick, awarded when goalkeeper Anna Price was adjudged to have pushed the ball away with her arm in making a good save.
Determined Colwall battled back and got on terms when Jackie Styles finished off a superb passing move covering the length of the field.
Both sides strove for a winner after the interval but the defences held out.

They went down 2-0 in their opening game against Gloucestershire and Avon, forced a 0-0 draw against Dorset in the second match, and then lost a tight game against Wiltshire 1-0.
In the final game against Somerset they went down 4-1, with Nicky Forcast scoring Herefordshire's goal.
