Westfields 4 Bustleholme 0
LEADING scorer Paul Burton joined the fray after the interval to inspire a much-improved second-half performance which saw Westfields bag four goals to retain top spot in the West Midlands League Premier Division in a midweek clash.
The visitors had defended well to keep Westfields out in a first half of few chances.
Then Burton sparked a revival and within four minutes of the restart the lively striker had broken the deadlock when he supported a break by Derek Craddock to fire home from 10 yards.
Minutes later he extended the lead with a penalty after Craddock was sent sprawling in the box.
Westfields were now dominant and went further ahead in the 65th minute when James Watkins and Burton set up Scott Jackson to crash in the third goal.
Bustleholme tried to come back but were denied by a headed goalline clearance from Mark Shaw and a superb save from Mark Hopkins.
Then Kevin Jinks made a fine run down the left flank before squaring the ball to the unmarked Watkins who completed the scoring with a fierce drive.
