Caersws 2 Presteigne 3
PRESTEIGNE produced a scintillating first-half display to secure three points in the Spar Mid Wales League.
Robbie Gore, returning from suspension, scored one - a blistering drive from 10 yards - and created a picture goal for Brad Pearson with a floated free-kick from long distance.
Presteigne created numerous other chances, including a Dave Lewis effort that hit the woodwork, but the home team struck back with a goal to leave the match well poised at 2-1.
Caersws had the better of the second half and it was Adam Marsh's turn to shine in goal for the visitors. He was beaten only once, and Pearson cancelled this out with a goal when his clever footwork took him past defenders to round the keeper.
