FORMER Minster School mates returned to one of their old haunts on Saturday night for a reunion at Leominster' s Royal Oak Hotel.
Some 80 former pupils, who left the school between 1980 and 1985, turned back the clock to renew past friendships after a gap of nearly 20 years and, despite the long gap, most of them had hardly changed at all.
Joint organisers Richard Horlock and Gail Bottomley say the event was so successful that it won't be another 20 years before the next one is held.
Thanks go to the Royal Oak for hosting the event, Phil Weaver for the music and James Davies who couldn't make the reunion at the last minute because his wife was about to have a baby but he generously put £50 behind the bar.
Photographs from the event will be posted at the website www.alpha-ct.com/reunion once they have been developed. Unfortunately one of the disposal cameras went missing on the night so if anyone finds it could they contact either Gail or Richard.
Attendees are also urged to log onto the website with their comments about the reunion and to sign an opinion poll regarding timing for the next one.
