Ledbury fire crews were called out to the Malvern Hills on Saturday and Sunday.
Firefighters were called to deal with the first grass fire of the spring, close to Worcestershire Beacon.
Around five hectares at the Peachfield Common site were ablaze, an area the size of around five football pitches.
Two Ledbury crews from Bye Street station attended the first shout at 3.10pm on Saturday. Hose reel jets were used together with beaters, but relief crews were called in from other stations to continue the battle, which was not fully won until Monday morning.
A Ledbury crew returned to the scene again at 6pm on Sunday, when there were still a large number of "hot spots" on the hills.
