Another former Yeovil Town player, the locally-based 26-year-old returned to United for a second stint in the summer after signing a part-time, season-long deal. Pitman has previously been at Edgar Street from February 1996 to May 1998, where he made 21 Football League appearance for the club. Pitman is a versatile player, who can play at right-back, wide right or central midfield and has linked up with Graham Turner for a second spell following his release from Nationwide Conference rivals Woking.
