GRAHAM Turner remains keen to bolster his attack after Lincoln City striker Tony Battersby's decision to turn his back on a move to Edgar Street.

The Bulls boss will be without John Grant until the end of the month as he recovers from a cracked fibula and has been forced to play Paul Parry up front.

Midfielder Ben Smith is set to return to training next week, while Mick Galloway, on-loan from Carlisle United, is eligible to play in Hereford's FA Cup and LDV Trophy ties later this month.

Galloway is hopeful of gaining a permanent contract at Hereford and will endeavour to impress in the remaining six games of his loan spell.

"I want to play first team football, so I need to impress the gaffer to try and get a long term deal," he said.

"If I can get eight games under my belt without a defeat, then I might be here long term."

Galloway was pleased with his side's 2-0 win at Leigh RMI last night. "It was a great performance especially with a clean sheet. Five out of six away wins is a great run. We set the tempo in the first ten or fifteen minutes. Matt Clarke's goal was a great one up the right hand side. It was a striker's finish, cutting inside and putting the ball in the bottom corner. Parry's goal was a great header that made it two nil.

"Hereford have eight games in a month which is brilliant for me because that's all I want to be doing is playing football.

"When the chance came along to come to Hereford for a month especially with Graham Turner and Richard O'Kelly in char-ge and liking the way they play, I grabbed the oppurtunity with both hands."
