FOR the second week in a row Bromyard played a side flying high in their North Midlands One league.
VESEYANS 26pts, BROMYARD 0
This was always going to be a tough trip to Birmingham but the young Bromyard side showed some excellent spirit in losing to a much bigger side.
Veseyans were 14-0 up at half time but Bromyard had some very long periods of pressure in the Veseyans 22 but couldn't convert this into points, 19-year-old prop John Wain came closest to scoring for Brom but didn't quite manage to.
The second half saw two more tries for Veseyans but again these came in between Bromyard pressure.
With 10 minutes remaining both sides were reduced to 14 men when young Ralph, on as replacement for the injured Moger, was sin binned along with the home side's centre.
Wain and Gareth Walsh impressed in the forwards whilst the backs lacked the ingenuity of the missing Piers Gaunt.
