AN innovative project for young people based in Hereford is seeking to raise its profile.
Each day the Herefordshire Supported Housing for Young People Project (SHYPP) helps around 100 16 to 25-year-olds with their housing, training and employment needs - yet the public at large have no idea the scheme even exists.
In an attempt to give people an understanding of its work, SHYPP held an open day at its base in Widemarsh Street, Hereford, last month.
SHYPP is managed by a local partnership of 12 agencies including Herefordshire Council, the Youth Service, Hereford Diocese, Job Centre Plus and the Connexions service.
For more information about SHYPP contact Emma Bennet, project administrator, by telephoning 01432 377909 or send an e-mail to info@herefordshireshypp.org
