A HAT-TRICK from marksman Ashley Preece fired Hereford Lads Club to the Gloucester Youth League Under-13 Cup in an exciting final at Spa Road.
The Hereford side fell behind early on but they hit back to equalise when Preece followed up a shot from Pete Wood which was parried by the Hempstead goalkeeper.
Hempstead restored their advantage before the interval, but Preece headed in a corner from Sam Harrison on the hour and the striker snapped up the winner from close range in the dying seconds.
