TOWN criers from across the world are preparing to descend on Bromyard for the annual town crier competition.
Thirty criers will be competing in the town on Saturday, May 3, and Sun-day, May 4. Three criers will be travelling from Australia and one from Belgium.
Bromyard and Winslow town crier, Peter Dauncey, who as host is not allowed to compete, said: "The competition is a lot of fun. It's very noisy and very colourful and helps to promote Bromyard.
"When we started the event the criers hadn't heard of Bromyard but now it's known across the world."
The criers will be leaving the public square at 10.30am on Saturday before competition cries at 11am and 2pm on the public green.
The following day another competition cry will begin at 11.30am before the prize giving at around 1pm.
A craft and produce sale will be held at the Public Hall from 10.30am to 4pm on Saturday. Some stall spaces are still available. Anyone interested should contact 01885 482021.
