POLICE have appealed to coach companies and hauliers to take extra care following the latest in a spate of diesel thefts.

Around £1,000 of diesel was siphoned from a coach business in Ocle Pychard overnight on Saturday, April 12. The incident was the latest of five diesel thefts in and around Bromyard over the past few weeks.

Bromyard police spokeswoman Georgie Bates urged drivers not to buy diesel on the black market.

"You don't steal thousands of litres of fuel to use in your own car. Local people are buying this diesel," she said.
