THE Colwall Singers have celebrated their 35th anniversary with a supper at Colwall Village Hall.
To celebrate the landmark an anniversary cake was cut by three founder members during the evening, also attended by several husbands and partners.
The choir began as a WI choir, which the founder members joined in the very early 60s. In 1968 it reformed as Colwall Ladies Choir with Sylvia Jarvis as conductor. Ron Ward now conducts with Audrey Speechley accompanying.
It meets on Tuesdays at 7.45pm at Colwall Village Hall. Anyone interested in joining should contact the secretary on 01684 561278.
