CHEF Paul Hackett, owner of the Yew Tree Inn, Clifford's Mesne, is to appear in a new television series that aims to promote the diversity of country pubs.
He has been filmed for a forthcoming episode of Particular Pubs, an ITV1 show that takes a look at unusual watering holes in the West Country.
Mr Hackett trained under the French maestro Michel Roux at the Waterside Inn, Berkshire.
Show producer John Edwards said the pub had been picked because of the high quality of the food on offer.
He said: "Paul is serving haute cuisine, which is extremely rare."
