Hereford Cathedral is to be the focal point for this autumn's month-long Anne Frank Exhibition.
But the arrival of the acclaimed exhibition will be the culmination of months of preparation already underway in schools and communities as well as in the Diocese itself.
Teaching packs have been produced and training days are being held to help preparation for the thousands of children who are expected to visit the exhibition.
Nominations are coming in now for a moral courage award and there are plans for a range of displays in other locations during October, linked to the main cathedral-based event.
The Courtyard in Hereford is presenting The Diary of Anne Frank for a fortnight and both Hereford Museum and All Saints will host related activities.
The touring exhibition itself, which describes Anne Frank's life and the Holocaust, also details recent persecutions like Stephen Lawrence.
It opens in Hereford on October 3 and runs until October 30.
