WINNIE the Pooh was just one of the supporters to help raise £1,900 at the Blackmarston School Fair in Hereford. Now the school is one step closer to a much-needed classroom block and multi-sensory room set to cost £100,000.
Other attractions included a treasure hunt, bouncy castle, face painting and a balloon race which was launched by Hereford's Mayor, Councillor Alan Williams.
The multi-sensory room is considered by staff as 'all-important' for their children, who have severe, profound and multiple learning difficulties.
The school is holding a community open day on June 13 to visitors can see the school in action and anyone wishing to make a donation should contact the school on 01432 272376.
