THE sheep section at Knighton Show is back for the first time since foot and mouth and the committee is hoping for more entries than ever.
Section secretary, Jenny Layton, said: "We have 40 classes and are pleased to see a relaxation of the six-day rule for shows which should increase entries from local and new entrants."
There are sections for the Kerry Hill, Suffolk, Welsh Mules, Welsh, Clun Forest, Beulah, continental, commercial ewes and butchers lambs at the show at Bryn-y-Castell on Saturday, August 30.
Show schedules or details are available from Miss Layton at McCartneys Knighton office on 01547 528621.
