Members from Hereford Combat Academy, Hereford Contact Karate Club and the Welsh Falcons Martial Arts Club united to compete in the Hereford Ju-Jutsu Kumite Championships.
Enthusiasts with an age range of eight to 45, competed in 11 different categories and there were a number of family successes for the local fighters.
Becky Hayes, who only recently took up the sport, collected the gold medal in her weight category and a bronze in the middleweight division, while her brother Daniel collected the silver medal in the boys' middleweight.
Pat Baker took gold in the masters and his daughter Emma collected a bronze in the junior girls' open.
