Hereford City slipped to seventh position in the Crusader Worcestershire County League Division 2 after a heavy 110-run defeat at Alvechurch & Hopwood.
The Racecourse Ground outfit were put to the sword by J Clifford, who smashed a magnificent 181 in the home side's mammoth 335-6.
Clifford batted for just 30 overs and collected 140 of his runs in boundaries, while J Rose (62) and N Jones (40) also weighed in for the home side.
Despite Clifford's onslaught, Ben Mason (2-44) and David Price (2-75) returned respectable figures for the visitors.
Mason then got Hereford's reply off to a brisk start, scoring a boundary-laden 36, but the city club lost wickets in the pursuit of quick runs.
Although the experienced David Mokler made a polished 69, the visitors were eventually dismissed for 225 with five overs still remaining.
Brockhampton moved up to second spot, just 10 points adrift of table-topping Bewdley, after outplaying visiting Feckenham in a winning draw.
Brockhampton skipper Andrew Watkins was the mainstay of the villagers' innings with a composed 50 as the home side rattled up a commanding 249-8.
Winless Feckenham struggled to score quickly against a Brockhampton bowling attack spearheaded by experienced seamer Roy Wargen (4-31) and they closed on a pedestrian 163-6.
Meanwhile, Hereford 2nd suffered two narrow home defeats over the weekend in the Worcestershire County League 2nd XI Division 2.
Against Alvechurch & Hopwood, Hereford's James Llewellyn scored a fine 103 and Phil Knight bagged 5-71, but the visitors overhauled the city club's 216 - to secure a three-wicket victory - off the last ball.
The following day, Hereford posted 205-7 against Malvern at the Racecourse but the Worcestershire side squeezed home by one wicket, despite an excellent display from spinner Simon Millar (5-51).
