ROGATION SUNDAY --The weather was kind, fine but not too hot. Anthony Howlett brought the first group from Bredenbury to Edwyn Ralph. After a short service at St Michael's 15 arrived at The Pound for refreshments. Robert Turner then took the new group on to Collington via some lakes, unknown to more than one in the group, and on to St Mary's where there was another short service and refreshments - and so the train continued on, as it has done for so many years.
