FUNDRAISER -- The recent coffee morning, held at the home of Enid and Ann Hooper, proved to be an extremely successful event. There had been fears that, with several other fund-raising events being held on the same day in surrounding villages, there could be a shortfall of supporters. However, with the refreshments being provided by the members of the Aston Ingham WI, who could resist popping in for home-made cakes etc! The bring and buy stall did a brisk trade and with a raffle, organised by Enid, the final profit for the event was in excess of £200. £100 has been donated to the Air Ambulance fund and the remaining monies are to be given to the Acorns Trust Fund for the new Children's Hospice.
