BUSES could be running more often and traffic congestion eased in the county with the launch of a new travel concept on June 16.
First in the Midland Buses is bringing its 'Over Ground' scheme to Hereford and major investment to its services, including more buses and new timetables.
Hereford MP Paul Keetch is backing the project and a second initiative with First Group, to bring the Yellow School Bus Scheme to the city.
"We all know that traffic levels fall sharply when schools are on holiday. I am glad that First Group is to consider a trial scheme in Hereford," he said.
