NO it is not April Fool's Day, so is this a joke? I feel that it probably isn't.
Somebody seriously thinks a glass lift near to one of the oldest sites in Hereford is a good idea. I wonder whether this person is showing off, having just completed their architect's training, or maybe it's a rather enthusiastic interpretation of the impending disabled provision.
I really can't think of anything more out of place and unnecessary.
May I suggest that perhaps people could walk, a slope and steps could be provided and made to look attractive and more in keeping with the historical setting.
