TWO local singers head North this weekend, with a coachload of faithful fans following suit.

Wendi Windsor of Leominster and Marc Drew of Hereford are performing at The Blackpool Opera House alongside stars of stage and small screen such as Cannon and Ball, Joe Longthorne, Roy Walker, Frank Carson, Peter Kaye and Jeremy Beadle. The Nolan sisters are appearing together for the first time in 15 years to close the show, which has been planned to raise funds for Blackpool charities including the MacMillan Cancer Windmill Appeal.

'All Hands On Deck', the fourth annual event of its kind, draws top names from around the country - all of whom donate their services.

It is Wendi's first appearance at the fund-raiser, which has raised over £100,000, while Marc was a great success last year with his incredible Tina Turner impersonation and was asked back for a second appearance.

The duo, who are both handled by a Bromyard management company, will arrive in style, courtesy of Absolute Limousines of Hereford.

Dave Morris of Bromyard is supplying a coach to take local fans up to Blackpool for Sunday's show, where they will enjoy a star spangled evening of entertainment - all in the best possible cause.
