Hereford United collected their first point in the Premier Division of the Midland Floodlit Under-18 Youth League with a 1-1 away draw with Nuneaton Borough.

United had the lion's share of possession in the first half, including an effort disallowed for an infringement, but Borough opened the scoring against the run of play 10 minutes before half time.

Hereford created several chances to equalise after the break, with Adam Kite having a shot blocked by the feet of the home goalkeeper.

But United continued to press and salvaged a draw with just five minutes remaining when Simon Gwilliam's chip to the far post was finished off by substitute Paul Hughes.
