Herefordshire FA 3 Surrey FA 1
HEREFORDSHIRE Under-18 came from behind to record an impressive 3-1 win at Ledbury in their second warm-up match.
Both teams struggled in the early stages on a hard pitch but Surrey took the lead in the 15th minute with a fine chip by the lively Keith Terry.
Paul Collins missed a good chance to equalise for Herefordshire before Cory Hyde set up Chris Mortlock to deliver a low cross into the box which was turned in by Robbie Parsons on 32 minutes.
Collins made amends for an earlier miss to put Herefordshire ahead from the penalty spot in the 57th minute and then both sides spurned opportunities before Collins seized on a defensive error to grab his second goal of the match.
