HEREFORD failed to recover from an early Ledbury try-blitz when the home side crossed the line three times in the first 15 minutes to establish firm control.
Hereford did hit back, however, with two tries from Leino Marofono, both converted by Robert Brimfield, before the turn-around, but by that stage Ledbury had also added two further unconverted tries of their own to lead 25-14.
In the second period, Hereford had to face an attacking onslaught led by their former player Russell Putland and, despite good defensive work by captain and pack leader Ben Adams, succumbed to a heavy defeat.
Hereford 3rd also suffered a comprehensive defeat with two tries from Mark Morrison all they had to show from a 54-10 loss to the touring 63rd Airborne side.
