OLD TIME MUSIC NIGHT - On a recent Friday evening the Standard Telephones and Cables Music Society from Newport entertained an audience in Garway village hall to an Old Time Music Night. The Music Society was reduced in numbers through illness but even so they gave an excellent performance with a varied programme of songs. There were stories and jokes, and a medley of Irish songs brought the evening to a close. The proceeds from the evening were for the Garway Village Hall Fund. The aim is to build a new village hall.
