Ledbury Primary School youngster Lauren Ackerman is riding happily into 2004 having won a bicycle in the school's Christmas draw.
Lauren, a Year 3 pupil, said she was totally amazed when it was announced she had won the draw.
Last week, she collected her special prize from Edward Clements, of Clements Cycles in New Street, accompanied by her father Robert, who had filled in the winning ticket.
The annual grand Christmas draw is a major fundraiser for Ledbury Primary School's PTA and this year raised £651.
All prizes were donated by local businesses, including Clements Cycles and Eager Electricals.
