GRAHAM Turner will renew rivalries with Peterborough United boss Barry Fry in next weekend's FA Cup first round clash.

The pair crossed swords during Fry's Barnet days and despite his colourful image Turner has no doubts about his quality as a manager.

"You don't stay a manager as long as he does without being good at the job," said Turner.

The Bulls boss is relishing the trip to Second Division Posh who have not won at their London Road ground to date.

"It's quite an attractive draw though obviously I would have preferred a home tie," said Turner.

"There home record is not brilliant, they haven't won at home and will be a bit up tight but on the other hand I'm sure if they'd been told they could have a home draw against a side two divisions below them they would have taken it."

Turner will not however be able to call on Tamika Mkandawire.

Despite extending his loan the defender has been ruled out of the Peterborough clash.

"I would have liked to have persuaded them to allow him to play in the FA Cup but so far they have not budged on that," said Turner, who hopes to have Paul Parry back after resting him for today's Nationwide Conference match at home to Leigh RMI.

Meanwhile any hopes of Hereford clash at London Road being chosen as a live game for Sky TV had been dashed because the ground's floodlights are not good enough.

The sides would have picked up £50,000 for the privilege but must now hope for a cash windfall from appearing on the feature highlights programme.

Fry said: "I contacted Sky and they told me we were not under consideration for a live broadcast because of our poor floodlights."
