GRAHAM Turner insists his Hereford United side will be looking for three points from tomorrow's trip to undefeated Stevenage Borough.

The Edgar Street club were held to a draw by Barnet in their last away game but after Monday's thrilling late win against Aldershot Town, Turner believes confidence is high among his players.

"We have to go there looking for a win. It is not beyond us," said Turner.

"Stevenage caused a stir last year in terms of their trading of managers and players from Farnborough but they are a big, strong squad who are going well but equally we're going there in good heart."

Hereford's players are still on a high from the 4-3 victory over Aldershot and the manner in which the win was achieved has given them added belief, says Turner.

"To come back from two goals down was important to us and for our confidence," he added.

Summer signing David Brown popped up with the late winner to register his first goal for the club and Turner claims it's just the tonic he requires after being forced to sit on the bench.

"It was a confidence booster for Brown who has had limited involvement so far and is just what he needed," added Turner.

Striker Daniel Carey-Bertram (hamstring) is back in contention for a place in the squad but Rob Sawyers is still out.

Meanwhile millionaire Stevenage manager Graham Westley is not reading too much into the Conference league standings, adding it is far too early to tell who the frontrunners will.

Boro have won three and drawn two of their opening matches but Westley is not over-excited by their fine start.

He told the club's official website: "It is early days to be worrying about the league table though.

"Sides often pick up points early on because the fixture list is kind to them and others drop points because the opposite is true.

"It is true that a bad start does affect a club and even some good sides just don't recover. Twelve games in, we'll all know a little more about how things are shaping up. After 20, you'll start to get a good idea."

Formcast: Bulls to take a point 1-1.
