WHY DO people want to get rid of Hereford's Mayford/ Widemarsh bus stop.
Many elderly, disabled and other people do their shopping and business elsewhere because of Hereford's high parking fees and insufficient parking spaces close to the shopping centre.
Hereford could lose even more customers if the only convenient bus stop for those South of the city is moved away from the shopping centre.
This would also lessen the incentive to use public transport instead of cars.
The city will lose a lot of future tourists who come for its 'olde worlde' uniqueness, if thoughtless modernisation continues to make it just like umpteen other towns.
