THE end of this month marks the first point to point meeting of the season in the county.
Saturday, February 28, will see the usual marathon card at Whit-wick Manor, Lower Eggleton, for the North Herefordshire Hunt fixture and the start of the Welsh Border Area season.
Welsh Border Area meetings: February 28 North Herefordshire Hunt, Whitwick Manor, Lower Eggleton; March 7 Ross Harriers, Garnons Estate, Hereford; March 21 South Herefordshire Hunt, Garnons Estate, Hereford; March 27 Teme Valley Hunt, Brampton Bryan, Shropshire; April 10 Ludlow Hunt, Bitterely, Shropshire; April 24: United Pack, Brampton Bryan, Shropshire; May 2 Radnor & West Herefordshire Hunt, Cold Harbour, Leominster; May 15 Golden Valley Hunt, Bredwardine (Confined Hunts Championship).
