HEREFORDSHIRE'S Short Mat bowling team beat Somerset 28-8 to book a quarter-final in the English A Team Knockout with Kent at Daventry on Sunday, February 29.
The scores were level at lunchtime in the match at Bishopswood but Herefordshire then took over.
Herefordshire team: Pam and Neil Kellett, Tony Vitale and Andrew Mollett (pairs), Hazel Vitale, June Pearce and Les Phillips (triples), Brenda Mollett, Sandra and Phil Rogers, and David Gardiner (fours).
