PEGASUS booked their place in the final of the Hereford & Worcester County Cup when they got the better of their hosts in a penalty shoot-out after a thoroughly entertaining tie.
Ross took a 15th-minute lead from a well-practised corner routine but the visitors lifted their game and levelled before the interval when Julie Nicholas drove home after a break down the flank.
Pegasus held the upper hand in the second half and put their hosts under pressure, but were hit by a swift counter-attack as Ross regained the lead.
Zoe Skyrme and youngster Lauren James were the pick of an outstanding Pegasus defence as Ross pushed forward, but the visitors weathered the pressure and took the tie into extra time when the experienced Nicholas bagged her second goal.
The teams could not be separated in extra-time, but Pegasus clinched a place in the final when their goalkeeper Marcella Stead saved the first three Ross penalties, and Stella Price, Laura Maxwell and Nicholas converted their spot-kicks.
