HEREFORD wheelchair tennis player Matt Faucher rounded off a successful week at the Australian Open by reaching the semi-finals of both the men's main draw consolation singles and men's second draw doubles. He then fell to fourth seed Ralh Weisang, of Germany, 6-2, 6-1 in the singles, while he and his partner had to withdraw from the doubles.
Janet McMorran, of Bromyard, lost in the second round of the the women's main draw singles to Dutch teenager Korie Homan.
