The Young Shakespeare Company will visit The Barn Theatre at the historic manor house of Hellens, Much Marcle, on March 25.
It will offer primary age youngsters masterclass sessions in A Midsummer Night's Dream.
Children from local primary schools including Eastnor, Ledbury, Ashperton, Bosbury, Much Marcle, Bromsberrow and Colwall will take part in workshops given by five professional actors.
Frances Bradley, spokesman for the Ledbury Poetry Festival school's programme, said: "The children will be between nine and 11 years of age. The experience is intended to make Shakespeare accessible to the primary age range and also to explore a method acting form of drama that can be translated to other situations in schools.
"Teachers from all schools will be present to take back some exciting ideas into the classroom."
