A CHESTER woman is appealing to Ledbury people to help her find out more about her family, who hailed from the Much Cowarne and Bishop's Frome area.
Janet Lowe's interest in tracing her family tree was rekindled when she received a clipping from the Ledbury Reporter showing a picture of a badger hunt taking place in the area around 1930.
The photograph came from a Mrs A Vicarage, in response to an earlier appeal in the paper.
Mrs Lowe said: "For some time I had been trying to trace the Vicarage family, as a Mary Vicarage was my great great grandmother.
"She was born in Much Cowarne to Edward and Sarah Vicarage in 1818."
